QSSI Appoints New VP of Business Development

Columbia, MD – March 26, 2007. QSSI is pleased to introduce Lynwood Owens as Vice President of Business Development at QSSI. Lynwood joins QSSI's high powered BD team and brings several years of BD and program operations experience to the company.

Lynwood was previously working as a Director for General Dynamics Information Technology where he built a contract backlog of over $75M. He has over 17 years of experience in managing IT professionals in a dynamic environment performing technical support, software development, systems engineering, network management, configuration management, and helpdesk support. Some agencies of note where Lynwood has won and managed contracts are Department of Transportation (FAA); National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST); Small Business Administration (SBA); USAID, NLRB; USDA; Health Human Services (HHS); and others.
