QSSI Awarded IRS SB/SE Management Support

Columbia, MD – November 22 , 2006 – QSSI, an SEI CMM level 2 rated company and provider of IT solutions, is pleased to announce it has been awarded the prime contract to manage the IRS Small Business/Self Employed (SB/SE) website initiative.

The $3million prime contract requires that QSSI manage SB/SE web content and hardware/software infrastructure for both the public facing IRS.gov as well as a large number of internal intranet portal(s). This includes the associated hardware and software to streamline content management, an automated workflow system that electronically routes approval requests to responsible managers before content updates are allowed to go live, as well as the streaming video infrastructure that provides self paced web based training for the SB/SE community across the US.
