QSSI supports the FAA Security System Development and Integration (SSDI) program, a nationwide program for upgrading physical security at approximately 1500 FAA facilities in all states and protectorates of the US. The SSDI program evaluates and documents site-specific security requirements and subsequently designs and deploys access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, emergency life-safety equipment, and communications and power infrastructures using a standardized solution tailored to facility-specific security needs. Through analysis and studies, card readers and biometric devices for personnel identification and credential authentication selection are identified, and system configuration and operation policies are established.

As a GSA approved HSPD-12 systems integrator, QSSI enables customers to achieve the overall objectives of HSPD-12. For the Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AOUSC), QSSI delivered an HSPD-12 compliant ID card issuance system. QSSI implemented its QVerifyTM framework, providing the hardware, software, and support services needed to replace AOUSC’s current ID card issuance system. QVerify™ is a web-based Personal Identity Verification (PIV) system designed to support identity credentialing, access management, and complex ID badge production requirements. Once issued, the PIV cards support physical and logical access control to agency assets.
